LGBTI people living in regional areas of Australia can face a variety of obstacles to accessing help and support. We recognise that fear of judgement, rejection and a concern with confidentiality can make it difficult to ask for help.
Headspace Albany supports local young people aged 12 – 25 who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns and/or substance use issues, and their family and friends. Access to counselling is FREE for young people between the ages of 12 – 25.
QLife is Australia’s first nationally-oriented counselling and referral service for people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and/or intersex (LGBTI).
Living Proud Inc is a non-profit organisation which aims to promote the wellbeing of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex, queer and other sexuality, sex and gender diverse people in Western Australia.
