TransVerse is a new group launched by Albany Pride, to provide a social group for members of our community who are trans, nonbinary, and/or gender diverse.

The vision of TransVerse is to build the social capacity and connections between trans and gender-diverse people that live in Albany and the surrounding regions.

We will meet monthly, and each session will be participant led. As such, this initial meeting is important to establish an idea of the kinds of activities and sessions for the months ahead and help drive the initial direction of the group! We will be providing pizza, so come along, have a chat, a bite to eat!

Please note: TransVerse is a peer support group, where participants get together as equals to provide support to each other. It is important to note that the group isn’t run by a professional social worker, and facilitators cannot provide any professional advice, counselling, or specialised support.

Albany Pride does run a Pride Support Group for individuals that may require that, and individuals that are aged 12-25 are able to attend Spectrum, our youth support group.
