Intersex Awareness Day
October 26th marks INTERSEX AWARENESS DAY, which was designed to highlight the human rights issues faced by intersex people, and to confront the shame, stigma, and discrimination that they face.

ALBANY PRIDE wholeheartedly and proudly observes this day, and encourages their followers to do the same, and to become an ally to the intersex community.

ALBANY PRIDE would like to take this opportunity to thank Intersex Human Rights Australia for their wealth of information, and continued work advocating for the intersex community.
